What to expect
Our services at PFBC are centered on Scripture. We pray the Bible, read the Bible, sing the Bible, and preach the Bible. Each service begins with prayer, followed by several songs, a sermon, and a Scripture-based benediction.
Our preaching is expositional, meaning the main point of the sermon comes directly from the passage being taught. We regularly preach through entire books of the Bible from both the Old and New Testaments. Services typically last about one hour, and we observe the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
Our music is chosen carefully to ensure it is rooted in Scripture and clearly reflects the gospel. Whether a song is old or new matters less than whether it is grounded in sound doctrine and helps the Word of Christ dwell richly among us (Colossians 3:16).

Who We Are
The DNA of PFBC
Believe
We believe that God is real and that changes everything. We see evidence of this reality in the universe and the world around us, in the Bible, and in Jesus Christ who is God’s self-revelation to us. It is this belief that shapes our lives and our gathered times of worship.
Be Known
To be known is the first step into meaningful relationship. Being known here at PFBC begins with a simple act of learning someone’s name. God already knows your name, but we don’t. So as you begin to worship with us, our goal is to learn your name and for you to learn some of our names.
Belong
Belonging follows being known. Belonging is best experienced in community. Our goal then is that you might find a smaller community within PFBC where you are truly known and where you experience real belonging.
"Come to me, all who labor and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

FAQ
Answers to Common Questions
What Does A Typical Sunday Service Like?
It’s helpful to arrive a few minutes early. Grab a coffee or tea if you like, then find a seat in the auditorium.
A typical service is 65 minutes long and begins with 30 minutes intended to draw our attention and focus our thoughts on God. This includes singing, prayer and reading the Bible. This is followed by a sermon focusing our attention on a portion of the Bible. We also take communion together during the first Sunday of each month.
We have a hosting team serving each Sunday, ready to answer any questions you may have.

Do You Have Anything For Children?
Yes! We have a robust children’s ministry for children up to grade 5 that meets during the 10AM worship service, where they learn about Jesus in a fun and safe environment.
