This is an opportunity to get a detailed explanation of the financial report from 2012 and to ask questions about it ahead of the Annual General Meeting on the following Wednesday.

Each year the entire church community is invited to gather together for an evening of celebrating what God has been doing, to pray together, and to talking about the mission and vision of our church.
It's also a chance for current church members to affirm new members, hold elections to church leadership, and affirm of the operating budget.
This year's Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 29th at 7pm in the Auditorium.

Library Book Sale - June 2nd
Our church library is a fantastic place to find books, DVD's and reference material for your entertainment, for your family, and for your personal spiritual growth!
Each year the Library gives the entire church a chance to purchase books that we want to add to the library. This year it's happening on Sunday, June 2nd.
Between and after each of the gatherings you can view and purchase books and DVDs for our library at great prices. Plus, with your purchase you get the privilege of being the first person to check the book or DVD out of the library!

Women's Retreat: June 7-9
The PFBC Women's Ministry Retreat will be happening this year from June 7th to 9th at the Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre and we would love to have you join us!
This year our guest speaker will be Karen Anderson (find out more about her below). She will be teaching us from the book of Philippians with a focus on Philippians 1:9-11.
Costs:
Regular Registration is $160.00 (after April 21st)
* All accommodations, our meals, and the snacks are included in the cost, and there will be many activities also available.

Step Two - Fill out the liability waiver for the retreat (HERE) and bring it to the church office
Step Three - Provide your payment to the church office (see prices and deadlines above)

About Karen Anderson:
Karen Anderson is Chaplain to the senior citizens residing at Shannon Oaks and Clarendon Court in Vancouver, BC. For many years, she served in support of her husband, Kent's, ministry as a pastor's and professor's wife. Now she has a significant ministry of her own, meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of the more than 200 residents in her care. Karen lives in Langley, BC, where she raised three children to young adulthood, Kelsey (now married), Kirk, and Katelyn. An accomplished visual artist, Karen loves to paint pictures with her hands and with her words, expressing a vision of a hopeful future as God leads and empowers.
